On the 2nd of March the first edition of uBEC, Uppsala BEST Engineering Competition, took place at Uppsala university.

It was in total 13 teams that had signed up and were eager to compete. The competition did include both Case study and Team design. The Case study was about how to promote BEST courses at the university. The Team design was to construct a device that will save an egg falling from 5 m and then send it away as far as possible. It became a lot of smashing and throwing eggs. Then after listening to fantastic ideas to promote courses, like running in Superman suits and have a giant bicycle domino, the winners was announced.
